GRAND HOTEL SITEA

GRAND HOTEL SITEA sits in the heart of Turin behind the centrally located Via Roma and Piazza San Carlo and is also just minutes from Piazza Castello. A fixture in the city since it was built in the early 1900s, the Sitea is a member of the prestigious Associazione Locali Storici d’Italia, a non-profit cultural association that includes nearly 250 of the oldest and most prestigious hotels, restaurants, pastry shops, and cafes in Italy. The elegant surroundings and experienced management, most whom have been part of the carefully selected staff for decades, make the hotel indispensable to travelers seeking a luxury experience. Built in the Art Nouveau style, the Sitea is a symbol of refined hospitality, decorated with classic Empire furnishings throughout the hotel and in the rooms and suites. There isn’t a better spot from which to tour the city, as the hotel is just a short walk from many notable museums as well as the Botanical Gardens and Rivoli Castle

The Porta Nuova train station and public transport stops are also close by. After a day spent shopping or touring the sites, the American Bar offers a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere for a pre- or post-dinner drink. An expansive breakfast buffet is complimentary with every stay, and its hot and cold items include scrambled eggs with sausage and bacon, handmade pastries and preserves, and a variety of local Piedemont cold cuts and other products. Michelin-starred chef Fabrizio Tesse overlooks daily lunch and dinner at the casual Carlo e Camillo Bistrot and nightly dinner at the stylish Carignano restaurant, which offers sophisticated international cuisine with dishes crafted in the renowned Piedmontese tradition. The beautiful internal garden is ideal for romantic candlelit dinners or intimate family gatherings.
